FBT Mitus 152 – Passive Speaker

Description

The FBT Mitus 152 is a professional passive 2-way speaker system built around a custom B&C 15″ neodymium woofer with a 3″ voice coil and a B&C 2″ exit compression driver with a 2.5″ voice coil. The HF driver is coupled to a rotatable 60° x 40° horn, allowing precise directional control on stage and enabling horizontal arrays of two enclosures for a combined coverage of 100°.  The cabinet is constructed from 15mm Baltic birch plywood in a scratch and scuff-resistant black finish, protected at the front by a heavy-duty metal grille with anti-resonance spacers. The hi-grade passive internal crossover features “soft-trip” circuitry for full protection of both the LF woofer and HF driver. Twelve M10 fly points built into the cabinet allow ceiling suspension, while a standard 1.38″ speaker stand socket provides ground-stacked flexibility completely manufactured in Italy.  With a recommended amplifier power of 800W RMS / 8Ω and a peak SPL of 132dB, the Mitus 152 is the trusted choice for concert touring, large-scale live events, and permanent professional installations demanding uncompromising Italian-engineered sound quality.
